The brick walls are there to give us a chance to show how badly we want something.” This quote came from Randy Pausch’s book The Last Lecture, and I think it fits for those business owners who are apprehensive about starting their own franchise. Sometimes I meet with a business owner that is a little nervous about venturing into the world of franchising because they perceive the details and legalities as large brick walls standing in their path. When this happens, I calmly quote Mr. Pausch’s words of wisdom to show the client that not all walls are there to prevent them from reaching their goal. Sometimes they just need to have the drive to break through or jump over that wall and reach their goals.
